PETALING JAYA:
Two 18-year-olds were arrested by Belgian police after a 25-year-old Singaporean student was stabbed to death in Brussels yesterday.

According to The Straits Times, the victim was with two other students in the city centre when two strangers harassed them. The group then went to Sint-Pietersstraat, a road nearby.

There, the two male suspects approached the Singaporean when he was alone. An argument ensued leading to the victim being stabbed in the abdomen.

A distress call was made at 2.30am local time. Policemen administered first aid before an ambulance arrived.

The victim died after being taken to a hospital.

The two suspects were nabbed by police who conducted a house-to-house search for the perpetrators.
