Ford Raptor F-150 gets Shelby treatment

PETALING JAYA: This is a brand new iteration of Ford’s most vicious pickup truck for ASEAN drivers; introducing the Shelby Baja Raptor.

A beefed up version of the already impressive Raptor, this romp-ready truck features the stock EcoBoost twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 paired with a customized cold air flow intake and aluminum intercooler that boost performance to 525 horses and 610 pound-feet of torque.

In addition to tinkering around under the hood, Shelby outfitted this desert demon with adjustable Fox 2 Stage Racing shocks and threw on impressive 18-inch alloy wheels with BFGoodrich KM2 tires.

As far as the body work is concerned, this truck gets the works; LED light bars, custom skid plates, a dual intake hood, and automatic runners all adorn the souped-up Raptor. Shelby is offering to either upgrade existing Raptors, or sell them brand new.
