FMT in partnership with The Global Institute For Tomorrow (GIFT) brings you Covid-19 “healers” from the Czech Republic.Kulturunezastavis, which translates to “culture cannot be stopped”, is an initiative from Czech theatre company Cirk La Putyka and
other associated artists from the Czech Republic.
It involves street performances from actors, dancers, singers, musicians and acrobats, on the ground, on roofs, on stages carried by motor vehicles, on moving trampolines, and on floating pontoons in Prague’s River Vltava.
People could enjoy performances at home, work, institutions and hospitals directly from their windows and balconies.

Artists — led by Rostislav Novak Jr — attempted to show that culture could be made and performed even as lockdowns closed theatres, cinemas and concert halls.
If spectators cannot gather to enjoy art, then art would need to be brought to them. Artists and spectators support each other: together, they can better cope with the disruptions of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Some of the performers include Naim Ashhab, Šárka Bočková, Michaela Stará, Filip Zahradnicky, Michal Štulík, and Daniel Komarov (acrobats); David Hlaváč, Irena Kristeková, Klára Vytisková, Iby Pop, Jan Balcar and Matěj Belko (singer and musician); Kristina Tukan Martanovičová and Michal Černý (dancers).
