A contraction of the words “vagina” and “dabbing,” vabbing is considered by its followers as a trick that falls between a beauty hack and the art of seduction.
More concretely, it is a technique that consists in reinventing the art of perfume – the ultimate glamorous and refined finishing touch to any outfit – but in the most natural of possible ways.
As you can see, vabbing does not require owning any iconic bottle of legendary fragrance, but using natural substances to perfume yourself.
A kind of upcycling of a new kind that many could well have done without. It’s more particularly bodily fluids, namely vaginal discharges and secretions, which are used here as perfume, to be dabbed behind your ears or on your wrists, as you would any other scent.

To date, the hashtags #vabbingtrend, #vabbingperfume, and #vabbingtiktok count some 22 million, 16 million and nearly nine million views on the social network, respectively.
Astonishing figures that show a certain craze for this most questionable of techniques. However, many of the videos shared by users are intended to criticize, or even mock, the method, behind which lies a desire to make men – or women – fall head over heels for the wearer. No clichés here…
