SAN FRANCISCO: Google has joined the Tokyo Olympics hype with its “largest-ever interactive Doodle game”, the tech giant said yesterday.
“Doodle Champion Island Games” feels like an adventure right out of the 16-bit era of gaming. Players are cast as a ninja cat named Lucky who competes in various mini-games to become a sporting legend.
Move around the island and compete in table tennis, skateboarding, archery and other challenges, and join one of the four colour teams to contribute to the real-time global leaderboard.
The game will be available on the Google homepage from today. Tokyo-based animators STUDIO4°C created the anime cut scenes and characters.
