PETALING JAYA:
PKR president-elect Anwar Ibrahim met with former finance minister Daim Zainuddin today to discuss about the country’s economy.

Anwar posted two pictures of the meeting on his Facebook page.

“Furthering the discussion with Tun Daim Zainuddin today. Charting a clear agenda to strengthen the economy and for the consideration of PM Tun Mahathir,” he said in the post.

Anwar is expected to contest in the Port Dickson by-election after PKR MP Danyal Balagopal Abdullah vacated the seat.

If he wins, it will mark his return to Parliament as he prepares to take over as prime minister in a couple of years following an agreement with Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
