Amirudin Shari said he had already confirmed his attendance for the meeting.

PETALING JAYA:
The National Security Council (MKN) has seemingly reversed its earlier decision to not include menteris besar and chief ministers in a meeting to decide on a stricter lockdown tomorrow.

This was revealed by Selangor menteri besar Amirudin Shari, who three hours earlier, said they had been uninvited.

“I was just informed that MBs and CMs are back on the invite list for the meeting tomorrow.

“Thank you for the invite. I will attend to air my views for the sake of the people of Selangor,” he said in a tweet.

Amirudin had this evening said he had confirmed his attendance only to be told that the MKN meeting tomorrow “will not involve menteri(s) besar and chief minister(s), unlike before”.

He said this in response to a social media user asking him if he was going to attend the meeting.

Earlier today, de facto law minister Takiyuddin Hassan said that the meeting would be chaired by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

The whole country, except Sarawak, is currently under MCO which is scheduled to end on June 7.
