PETALING JAYA:
Penang will be getting a new police chief in Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, who is currently the deputy director of Bukit Aman’s E1 Special Branch.

Shuhaily will be taking over the reins from current Penang police chief Sahabudin Abd Manan on July 1, who will be leaving after just over a year.

Sahabudin had been appointed the state’s police chief in March 2020 and will be the new Bukit Aman logistics and technology department director.

He takes over from Mazlan Lazim, who was named the new deputy inspector-general of police earlier today.
