The ministry said more than 300,000 Covid-19 vaccine doses had been administered for six consecutive days, bringing the total number of doses administered to 11,075,493.
Of this number, 7,649,848 have received one dose, while 3,425,645 have received their second dose.
“Congratulations to all doctors, vaccinators, general practitioners, health workers and volunteers at all the vaccine centres nationwide.
“You have all done well and Malaysia is now on track to achieve herd immunity.”
Vaccinations exceeded the 300,000-a-day mark for the first time on Tuesday, which Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said was in line with Putrajaya’s projections.
