EMCO in 8 localities in Sabah to be lifted tomorrow

The EMCO in these areas started as early as Aug 12.

However, the EMCO affecting Kampung Labuan and Kampung Ambung Tolus in Kota Belud, Sabah will be extended until Sept 18.
PETALING JAYA:
The enhanced movement control order (EMCO) at eight localities in Sabah will be lifted tomorrow, according to the National Security Council (MKN).

In a statement this evening, MKN director general Rodzi Md Saad said the EMCO at three locations in Kota Belud – Kampung Menunggui, Kampung Sayap and Kampung Tuguson – will end tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at two localities in Lahad Datu – Cantawan plantation housing and Lestari housing Felda Sahabat 48 – will also be lifted tomorrow, as well as two localities in Tawau (Taman Millenium and Taman Kinabutan Ria).

The EMCO at Kampung Tangkuyan, Kinabatangan will also end tomorrow.

In Pahang, the EMCO at Taman Balok Makmur in Kuantan and Damai Taha flat in Temerloh will end on Sept 4 as well.

In Perak, Taman Samudera (Manjung) and the Sungai Cincin Orang Asli village (Batang Padang) will go under EMCO from Sept 5 to Sept 18.

In Pahang, areas around the Padang Tengku township in the Gua subdistrict in Lipis will also go under EMCO during the same period.

Meanwhile, the EMCO affecting Kampung Labuan and Kampung Ambung Tolus in Kota Belud, Sabah will be extended until Sept 18.
