2 localities in Pahang and Sabah go under EMCO

Lockdowns in three other areas in Sabah will end on Sept 13.

Two localities in Pahang and Sabah will go under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Sept 14 to Sept 27, the National Security Council (MKN) said today.

The areas are Rancangan Rumah Murah (RRM), Kampung Kolek, Sungai Lembing in Kuantan, Pahang, and Perumahan IOI Plantations Unico Oil Mill Sdn Bhd, Segama in Lahad Datu, Sabah.

MKN director-general Rodzi Md Saad said the EMCO in Kampung Nelayan Benut, Mukim Sungai Pinggan in Pontian, Johor, will be extended until Sept 20.

Meanwhile, three other areas in Sabah will see their lockdowns lifted tomorrow as scheduled.

They are Taman Megah Jaya and Kampung Bukit Gemuk in Tawau as well as Kampung Nasakot in Ranau.
