Village in Temerloh, Pahang under EMCO

Kampung Paya Mengkuang to be placed under EMCO from Sept 17 until Sept 30.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at Bentong prison complex in Pahang will end tomorrow.
PETALING JAYA:
A village in Pahang will be placed under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Sept 17 until Sept 30 to curb the spread of Covid-19.

In a statement today, National Security Council (MKN) director-general Rodzi Md Saad said Kampung Paya Mengkuang, Sanggang in Temerloh, Pahang will be placed under EMCO.

Rodzi added that the EMCO at Kampung Dumpiring Bawah in Ranau, Sabah will be extended until Sept 30.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at several localities in Sabah, Sarawak and Johor is set to end tomorrow.

The localities are Kampung Orang Asli Simpang Arang in Johor Bahru, Johor, and the workers’ quarters in Sri Datai Mining in Mukah, Sarawak.

In Sabah, the localities are the workers’ quarters in Mayvin Farm 2 in Telupid, Kampung Tagaroh in Kota Marudu and the Cargo Timber factory and quarters in Keningau.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at Bentong prison complex in Pahang will also end tomorrow.
