DAP to contest 4 parliamentary, 8 state seats in Pahang

It will contest the Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, and Bentong parliamentary seats.

In the previous general election DAP won two parliamentary seats in Pahang, namely Raub and Bentong.
PETALING JAYA:
DAP has announced it will contest four parliamentary and eight state seats in Pahang for the coming general election (GE15).

Its candidates for the parliamentary seats are Chiong Yoke Kong (Cameron Highlands), Tengku Zulpuri Shah Raja Puji (Lipis), Chow Yu Hui (Raub) and Young Syefura Othman (Bentong).

In the last general election Tengku Zulpuri won in Raub, while Bentong was won by Wong Tack, who will now defend his seat as an independent after being dropped by DAP.

The candidates for the eight state seats eyed by DAP are:

  • Tanah Rata – Ho Chi Yang
  • Tras – Tengku Zulpuri Shah Raja Puji
  • Pulau Manis – Muhammad Khairil
  • Mentakab – Woo Chee Wan
  • Bilut – Lee Chin Chen
  • Ketari – Thomas Su
  • Sabai – Kamache Doray Rajoo
  • Triang – Leong Yu Man

With the exception of Pulau Manis, DAP is looking to defend the other seven seats it won in the 14th general election.
