I’ll reach out to GPS if Warisan wins 15 or more seats in Sabah, says Shafie

Warisan president Shafie Apdal says he wants to discuss how the rights of both states could be fulfilled.

Shafie Apdal says Warisan will respect the outcome of the general election.
SEMPORNA:
Warisan president Shafie Apdal said he would contact Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) leaders if his party won more than 15 of the 25 parliamentary seats in Sabah in the general election.

“(I will contact) my friends from GPS, not formally, just to talk about what we want to fight for, (regarding) these two regions so our rights can be fulfilled,” he told reporters after casting his vote at SK Bubul here.

Shafie said Warisan would respect the outcome of GE15, no matter how it turns out.

“Sometimes we win, sometimes we don’t win. We can’t say that the people are wrong, they are just exercising their rights,” he said.
