
The coalition has ruled out collaborating with Pakatan Harapan.
Perak PN chairman Razman Zakaria said PN had won 26 of the 59 state seats, and needed at least four seats to form the state government.
The coalition would work towards forming the state government in the next few days “with our allies on the other side” in what appeared to be a reference to Barisan Nasional.
“But we would like to state that we would not work with Pakatan Harapan. No Anwar and no DAP,” he said referring to PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim. “We just have our friends from BN.”
BN won nine seats and PH 24 seats in the 59-member Perak state assembly.
Earlier, PH Perak chief Ngeh Koo Ham said the coalition is seeking a formula to form a new Perak government, as no single party had managed to secure a simple majority.
