PETALING JAYA:
Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional have agreed to jointly form the Perak government.

This was confirmed by PH today.

In the general election, Perikatan Nasional had won 26 state seats in Perak, followed by PH with 24, and BN with nine.

Previously, Perak Perikatan Nasional hinted that it would work with BN to form the state government.

The Muhyiddin Yassin-led coalition had ruled out collaborating with PH.

In a video, Perak Amanah chief Asmuni Awi confirmed that the state PH chapter had formed a new state government with BN.

“This means that a government made of PH and BN will run the state of Perak,” he said.

“God willing, this will be a stable government that will fulfil the rakyat’s aspirations for the prosperity of the people of Perak.”
