
Among the BN leaders spotted entering the building were MCA president Wee Ka Siong, Umno vice-president Khaled Nordin and Titiwangsa MP Johari Ghani.
PKR grassroots members from Gombak and Rembau were also seen, as was PKR Selangor deputy communications director Zainol Abidin Mohamed.
“We’re here with some (PKR) MPs to show our support for the (PKR) leaders who are carrying out the negotiations,” said Zainol.
“BN is having a meeting now, so we’re not involved in that.”
Yesterday, Pakatan Harapan chairman and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim confirmed that PH and BN were in negotiations to jointly form the federal government.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, has given party leaders and heads of coalitions until 2pm today to propose their prime ministerial candidates.
