KUALA LUMPUR:
Bersatu Youth chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal has urged police to take action against Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng over the tax exemption issue involving Albukhary Foundation.

Speaking to reporters after lodging a report on the matter at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters, Wan Fayhsal alleged that Anwar had confused the Dewan Rakyat by supporting Lim.

He said this was because he believed Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin had not lied about the matter.

Muhyiddin had previously claimed that Lim cancelled the tax exemption given to the foundation while he was the finance minister.

However, on March 21, Anwar denied that Lim had done so.

Wan Fayhsal said Perikatan Nasional would refer Anwar to a parliamentary committee over his actions.
