The Kuala Lumpur fire and rescue department chief Iqbal Khan Malek Khan says the cause of the fire is being investigated.

PETALING JAYA:
Nine motorcycles and four electric scooters were destroyed in a fire at an outdoor parking bay near Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur.

Another four motorcycles were slightly damaged.

Kuala Lumpur fire and rescue department chief Iqbal Khan Malek Khan said they received a call at 3.46pm and dispatched a team of 15 firemen to the scene.

“The fire was put out at 4.04pm,” he said in a statement.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
