Noor Hisham said he was now going to haul Koong Woh Tong to court.
In a picture he posted on X (formerly Twitter), Noor Hisham showed what appeared to be a newspaper cutting in which his image was used in relation to an article on a herbal tea concoction.
Describing it as a shameful act, Noor Hisham said he was left with “no choice but to take Koong Woh Tong to court”.
Noor Hisham wondered how much damages he should claim from the company. “At least if I win, I can share the winnings with NGOs,” he said.
Noor Hisham came to prominence as the government spokesman during the Covid-19 pandemic. When one of his followers on X said the article was based on a speech he made during the pandemic, Noor Hisham said: “It’s misleading to link (it) with the product”.
