Sabah DAP resolves to defend its seats at next state elections

Sabah DAP has resolved to defend the state assembly seats now held by the party when the next Sabah state elections are held.

Sabah DAP secretary Phoong Jin Zhe said delegates at the state party convention today also resolved to continue supporting the state government led by chief minister Hajiji Noor until its term ends in 2025.

Phoong said the state party committee also rallied their support towards Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and expressed confidence that Sabah will be given bigger support to address problems in the state, Bernama reported.

Another resolution requested the federal government to uphold religious freedom, protect racial diversity, and not give in to religious extremists.
