KOTA BHARU: Salwani Yusof, the second wife of Amanah communications director Khalid Samad, died today from heart complications.
Kelantan Amanah women’s wing chief Dr Hafidzah Mustakim said Salwani, 43, died at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia in Kubang Kerian at 1.15pm.
Hafidzah said the funeral prayers were held at Masjid Al-Sultan Ismail Petra after Isha prayers today.
“Her remains will be buried at the Tok Kenali Muslim cemetery tonight,” the Kota Lama assemblyman said.
Khalid, who is also the Kelantan Amanah chairman, married Salwani in 2022.
