In a Sinar Harian report, Pang, 31, said she was confident that PH broke no rules when campaigning for Saturday’s polls.
“I believe our campaign has abided by the law,” she told reporters after observing the early voting process at the Kuala Kubu Baharu police academy.
“The opposition can say whatever they want, but I am confident we have campaigned ethically and abided by the rules.”
Yesterday, PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan claimed Perikatan Nasional had evidence that the unity government had misused its assets while campaigning.
Takiyuddin said the coalition would file an election petition if PH wins the by-election.
Today’s early voting process involves 625 police personnel and 238 military personnel, as well as their spouses, who will cast their votes to elect their new representative for the seat in the Selangor state assembly.
The Election Commission said early voter turnout was at 73% as of 11am.
