PETALING JAYA:
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) does not pay its coaching staff “excessive” salaries, FAM president Hamidin Amin said.

“Overall, if we follow each individual (assistant coach) according to their ranking in the team, their salaries are around US$5,000-US$10,000, and even up to US$15,000.

“If it’s the head coach, (the salary) is higher, but everything is reasonable. (Salaries) are below US$20,000 but all in US dollars,” Berita Harian quoted him as saying.

“FAM pays all (salaries).”

Harimau Malaya is coached by Kim Pan Gon, with Pau Marti Vicente and E Elavarasan serving as assistant coaches.

The other members of the team include assistant coach Park Bo-bae, performance analyst Lim Jae-hun, and his assistant, Lee Je-yoon, fitness coach Park Ji-hyeon and goalkeeping coach Cho Jun-ho.
