
According to Bernama, the MTBC described Nathan’s death as a great loss to the bowling fraternity.
“He was a remarkable leader, mentor, and guiding force in the bowling community,” it quoted the group as saying.
“His visionary leadership not only elevated Malaysian bowling to a world-class standard but also inspired countless individuals who had the privilege of learning from him.
“His contributions to the sport, both locally and globally, are immeasurable.”
Nathan had founded the MTBC in 1974 and served as its president for 50 years until he stepped down from the post in May this year.
He is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
