PETALING JAYA:
A Cambodian ice cream vendor was killed after being struck by a falling tree while riding his motorcycle in Kuantan, Pahang, today.

Kuantan police chief Wan Zahari Wan Busu said the 29-year-old victim named Sen Sauat was confirmed dead at the scene in the 6pm incident.

“Bystanders said the victim was struck by a tree while returning from selling ice cream near the Pandan Sungai Panching waterfall. Strong winds and heavy rain had caused the tree to fall.

“He was the only one on the road at the time,” Bernama quoted Wan Zahari as saying.
