KUANTAN:
The driver of a water tanker and his attendant sustained minor injuries when the vehicle veered off the road and crashed into two houses and two cars in Taman Kenanga in Raub today.

Firefighters who responded to an emergency call at 12.40pm found the two men suffered minor injuries. They were helped out of the vehicle by passersby.

Raub district police chief Shahril Rahman said the tanker was travelling from Kuala Atok to the Pengurusan Air Pahang office when the accident occurred.

Preliminary investigations suggest the driver braked suddenly after the vehicle ahead slowed down, causing the tanker to swerve to the left side of the road.
