PETALING JAYA:
A passenger on board a popular airline today claimed that a gecko was found in his nasi lemak bought on board the flight.

The passenger, Awang Waseem, said the incident happened when he was on a flight to Kuching, Sarawak, on March 27.

“When I was eating, I found a lizard in my food. I informed the steward and he wanted my food container to replace it.

“I refused. When I landed at the Kuching International Airport, I went straight to the police station to make a report.”

The police report was then uploaded on Facebook along with a picture of the nasi lemak that was shared on “Oh Media!”, a popular Facebook page.

A picture shows the gecko together with fried ikan bilis and chicken rendang. No price was stated.

Awang Waseem said the police report was intended as a precautionary measure for his own safety.
