
The 32-year-old woman and the other eight, aged between 18 and 49, who were high on drugs tried to escape but failed.
Manjung AADK chief Sharuddin Abd Salam said the woman was nabbed in a raid at a house in Teluk Muroh at about 10am.
“Her son was found famished as he had not eaten for two days,” he said when contacted here yesterday.
He said the nine suspects tested positive for drug abuse involving methamphetamine, marijuana and morphine.
The six-hour operations, dubbed “Ops Cegah” and “Ops Gelora”, began at 9am and took place in Teluk Muroh and Lekir near here.
Meanwhile, a 27-year-old man nabbed in a raid at a house in Lekir tested positive for methamphetamine and heroin.
